Hollywood’s next great schism? Not quite. This power battle is more adorable than hostile. Sandra Bullock just revealed that her daughter, Laila, and Channing Tatum’s daughter, Everly, attended the same preschool…and had teeny-tiny little girl beef. Baby enemies. Small nemeses. The cutest rivalry of all time.
“Channing and I were always getting called by the principal of our school because our daughters were at each other’s throats,” Bullock told People. “It’s not the case anymore, but like one of them was trying to outdo the other one and take the other one down. It was hilarious.”
“We were always praying it was the other one’s daughter when we were called into the office,” she joked, adding that the principal was “gentle” and the parents were “mortified.”

While eight-year-old Everly and 10-year-old Laila were “pretty equal” in their mischief-making back in the day, they’re pretty good friends now. When their parents were making The Lost City, they all had to quarantine together, which Bullock said worked out great. (Funnily enough, their parents’ action-comedy is all about learning to get along with people you initially don’t like.)
“They’re both equally suited and they were both as strong, but now we had a month for them to be quarantined while we were filming and it was a lovefest,” she said. “Just sleepovers, everyone in my bed. It was everyone, not Channing. Just the kids. Channing got the night off—he was off with his buddies.”
At the movie’s premiere on Monday, March 21, Sandra Bullock played with clashing elements in her outfit, wearing a girly pink gown accessorized with thigh-high boots and a dinner jacket. Tatum, meanwhile, can’t stop adding awesome women to his life. In addition to Bullock, Everly, and Laila, he’s been spending more time with girlfriend Zoë Kravitz, and the two are reportedly getting serious. Stay sweet, Kravitz. Everly’s not afraid to start some itty-bitty brawls.
