Justin Bieber Opened Up to Fans About Hailey’s ‘Really Scary’ Hospitalization

A week after his wife, Hailey Bieber, was hospitalized with a blood clot in her brain, Justin Bieber is opening up about how the experience affected his family.

The singer shared his feelings to a crowd of supportive fans at his concert in Denver on Wednesday, March 16. “You know, it’s kind of crazy how life throws you curveballs,” he said. “You can’t really control much. Most of you probably know or seen the news about my wife…she’s okay, she’s good, she’s strong. But it’s been scary, you know, like, it’s been really scary. But I know for a fact that God has her in the palms of his hands, and that’s a good thing.”

Bieber added, “Everybody in here, everybody in the world deals with insecurities, and everybody deals with fears.” He posted a video of the moment to Instagram with the caption “Love you guys.”

Hailey was taken to the hospital on Thursday, March 10, after exhibiting stroke-like symptoms during breakfast with Justin. She revealed the ordeal on Instagram Stories on March 12, writing, “I was sitting at breakfast with my husband when I started having stroke-like symptoms and was taken to the hospital.”

The model revealed that she was diagnosed with a small blood clot in her brain that ultimately passed on its own. “I recovered completely within a few hours,” she said. “Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I’ve ever been through, I’m home now and doing well and I’m so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses that took care of me! Thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes and concern and for the support and love.”

The Biebers are candid about how much strength they derive from their relationship. When Hailey turned 25 in November 2021, Justin Bieber wrote on Instagram, “Life has never made more sense until you became my wife. I will never stop loving you, I will never stop holding you, and I will never stop protecting you. You my queen are more than enough for me and I will spend every day making you feel like the queen that you are.”
