Since when did Hailey Bieber become a full-blown brunette? True to her Los Angeles–dwelling roots, the model used to sport a sun-kissed shade of beachy blonde, complete with lighter ends and money pieces that effortlessly flattered her face.
But in a series of photographs she posted to Instagram on Wednesday, Bieber has kissed goodbye to her flaxen roots, once and for all. In its place is a chocolatey shade of allover brown—her natural color.

Having gradually grown out her blonde highlights over the past year or so, the new hue is not only ultra flattering on Bieber’s complexion but a low-maintenance color to upkeep too. Influencer Camille Charrière also recently returned to her dark roots after years of being blonde. In a piece for Vogue, she wrote that she wanted to “feel closer to my authentic self.”
Highlights? Never heard of them.
