“Music’s Biggest Night” is fast approaching! If you want to get really excited about the 2022 Grammy Awards, look no further: fan-favorites BTS and Olivia Rodrigo will officially be performing at this year’s awards ceremony.
On March 15, the Recording Academy announced the first round of performers for this year’s show, a list of seven artists, all current nominees. Besides BTS and O-Rod, other performers taking the stage include Brothers Osborne, Brandi Carlile, Billie Eilish, and Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow, as reported by Variety.
The 64th Annual Grammy Awards will air live on Sunday, April 3, 2022. Notable nominations this year include Olivia Rodrigo‘s stunning seven noms—she’s the second-youngest artist ever to be nominated in all “Big Four” categories for her debut *Sour—*as well as BTS’s second Grammy nomination. The South Korean septet is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their smash hit “Butter.”
Lil Nas X is nominated for four Grammys at this year’s awards, and Jack Harlow, who was previously nominated in 2021 for his single “Whats Poppin,” has two nominations for his work on LNX’s debut album Montero. Like Olivia, Billie Eilish also scored seven nominations this year for her album Happier Than Ever and her music film Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles.
