The tongue-in-cheek video—no pun intended—is signature Stewart. Like all of her content, the clips she created in partnership with Clé de Peau are, as she puts it, “natural, fun, and elegant all at the same time.” To that end, the videos were filmed throughout various places in her own home, including her bathroom, kitchen, greenhouse, and—wait for it—“cookbook library.”
And like any good content creator, Stewart did what was necessary to get the shot. “We filmed one in my new poolhouse bathroom, which is not heated because it’s only for summer,” she says. “It was about 20 degrees out, but we [taped] it there anyway because it has great light.”
For her part, Stewart has been active on TikTok since October 2021, sharing snippets from her life that go beyond the photos she posts on Instagram. “Who has such a beautiful white peacock as I do?” she says. “I have to share that.” And when she isn’t creating her own TikTok content, she’s scrolling through her For You page watching how-tos just like the rest of us. “It’s [about] education,” says Stewart. “I call it EduTok instead of TikTok.”
And for those who are hesitant about adapting to a new platform, Stewart offers a piece of advice that applies beyond just social media: “Don’t ignore, *embrace—*that’s very important.”
