Sarah Jessica Parker’s Tulle Dress for the And Just Like That… Premiere Is So Carrie

Sarah Jessica Parker brought Carrie Bradshaw to the And Just Like That… premiere.

The day we’ve all been waiting for and struggling to get to is here: The Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That…, finally dropped on HBO Max after months and months of seeing looks from the set and theorizing how the hell the show will explain Samantha’s absence

Sex and the City always brought it in the fashion department, Carrie Bradshaw in particular. The character is a style icon who has inspired us all, even decades after the show first premiered on HBO in 1998. As the actor who played Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker has always lived up to her character’s fashion-legend status with her looks both on the street and on the red carpet.

So it comes as no surprise then that SJP nailed a look that is so Carrie Bradshaw for the New York City premiere of And Just Like That… on the evening of Wednesday, December 8.

Parker wore a gray-lavender Oscar de la Renta evening gown with sparkly beading, a full pink tulle skirt, and a sweetheart neckline. It even came with a matching cape. With it, SJP wore pink custom SJP Collection heels. She also wore some rings, a simple necklace, and stud earrings that let the embellishments on the dress stand out. For glam, SJP went with her signature smoky eye paired with a nude lip. Stunning! She wore her hair in a tight, classy bun.

In an interview with Vogue in November, Sarah Jessica Parker called out the misogynistic responses to And Just Like That…. “There’s so much misogynist chatter in response to us that would never. Happen. About. A. Man,” she said. “‘Gray hair, gray hair, gray hair. Does she have gray hair?’”

And Just Like That… is available to watch now on HBO Max.
