Just after Selena Gomez revealed her bottleneck bangs on TikTok, Megan Fox is jumping on the fringe trend. On March 31, the actor debuted a look that’s somewhere between curtain bangs and side bangs, with plenty of face-framing medium-length pieces at the front and the rest of her hair in a neat top bun. What are we calling this style? The punk Tinker Bell? The updated Zooey Deschanel? Fox did have a stint on New Girl, after all….
Celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos posted pictures of the new style to Instagram, which featured Fox in thigh-high boots (not just for winter anymore!) and a sheer blue crop top. As for Fox, she showed off the look while rocking out to fiancé Machine Gun Kelly’s new album on Instagram Stories.
Fox and Kelly are currently planning a goth wedding that will be, if nothing else, very on brand. Pete Davidson will be in attendance! The pair are aiming for 2023, which will give Megan Fox plenty of time to grow out her bangs if she doesn’t want them as part of her bridal look.
Assuming the bangs are real and not clip-ins, this is Fox’s first major cut in a long time. She’s had remarkably consistent hair for the past year, almost always wearing her dark brunette locks long, slightly wavy, and parted in the center. While she sometimes goes wavy and sometimes straight, she rarely deviates from those three attributes.
