We were really hoping they’d pulled a Ben Stiller–Christine Taylor, but it looks like Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet are still broken up.
After 16 years as a couple and four years of marriage, the pair announced their split in January with a loving joint statement on Momoa’s Instagram feed. “We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times,” they said in their statement on January 12, per People. “A revolution is unfolding and our family is no exception… Feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring. And so we share our family news that we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty,” they continued. “The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become… Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life our children. Teaching our children what’s possible. Living the Prayer. May Love Prevail J & L.”
However, rumors of reconciliation have been circling since February. By March the breakup statement was no longer on his grid, and Bonet was even spotted wearing a ring on that finger!
But when asked about the relationship at the Oscars (where he wore a very cool French Braid) Momoa shut down those relationship rumors. “We’re not back together,” he told Access Hollywood on March 27,in no uncertain terms. “We’re family. We have two beautiful children together.”

So, okay, this is a beautiful and healthy way to talk about the mother of your children and your partner of over a decade. If not being together is what makes them happy, then that’s the right decision. All that said…bummer! We had our hopes up! Now we don’t! Le sad! On the other hand…Jason Momoa off the market? So torn!
