We finally know when we’re getting the rest of Grace and Frankie season seven.
The long-running Netflix original series will come to an end on April 29, when the last of the show’s seventh season hits Netflix. The sitcom announced the conclusion on Twitter on March 22, bidding fans a fond farewell and promising that even though “the sun’s about to set,” they’re “just getting lit.”

After a long production pause due to the coronavirus pandemic, Netflix dropped the first four episodes of season seven in August 2021 and announced that more were on the way.
The streaming giant let the hit show’s stars make the announcement in a short video released on August 13. In the clip Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda channel their signature banter, interrupting each other while explaining that, while they’ve missed us, it’s far more important that we have missed them. Not to worry, the pair promised that they were hard at work filming the rest of the show’s final season, which we will finally get to see in about a month.

The four episodes dropped in 2021 were called “The Roomies,” “The Arraignment,” “The Bunny,” and “The Circumcision.”
Starring Tomlin, Fonda, and a deep bench of comedy actors—including Sam Waterston, Martin Sheen, June Diane Raphael, Brooklyn Decker, Baron Vaughn, Ethan Embry, and Peter Gallagher—Grace and Frankie follows the unlikely friendship of two women forced to band together after their rich husbands reveal they’ve been in a relationship with each other for decades.
