Lucy Hale is just one of many stylish celebrities currently rocking the lob (long bob) haircut, but she just took the casual style a step further by adding easy-breezy curtain bangs, a face-framing shape that’s super flattering.
“More bang for your buck,” the Pretty Little Liars star wrote on Instagram, posting two pictures of her fresh bangs and blonde highlights. Hale showed off the look by wearing a casual, boxy button-up in an olive green shade that makes her eyes pop.
The shaggy do, courtesy of her go-to hairstylist Kristen Ess, was a hit among Hale’s celebrity friends. “Love!” Ruby Rose wrote in a comment, while Demi Lovato replied, “CUTIE.”

Lucy Hale, who is in fact a devotee of the “outgrown bob,” recently opened up to Glamour about her beauty journey while filming the popular teen drama. While Aria’s hair was always on point, Hale struggled with embracing her acne-prone skin.
“There were tears,” Hale told Glamour. “There were days when I didn’t want to be in front of a camera. I remember vividly one day we were filming Pretty Little Liars—and the show’s called Pretty Little Liars, so they wanted us to look a certain way—we had to specially light my skin to reflect in a different way so you wouldn’t see my acne. I remember being just so embarrassed and mortified.”
