Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz are Reportedly Getting Serious About Their Future

The summer of fun isn’t over just yet. Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum were spotted taking a bike ride together on the streets of New York City this August—as in, sharing a single bicycle, an act some say is more intimate than…other acts (“it’s just like riding a bike!”).

These maybe-friends are even more fun to speculate about because of the feature film project that recently brought them together: Zoë Kravitz’s directorial debut, which Tatum stars in. It’s called Pussy Island. Naomi Ackie will also star in the film, which Kravitz cowrote. Per Variety, “Ackie will play Frida, a young, clever, Los Angeles cocktail waitress who has her eyes set on the prize: philanthropist and tech mogul Slater King (Tatum). When she skillfully maneuvers her way into King’s inner circle and ultimately an intimate gathering on his private island, she is ready for a journey of a lifetime. Despite the epic setting, beautiful people, ever-flowing champagne, and late-night dance parties, Frida can sense that there’s more to this island than meets the eye. Something she can’t quite put her finger on. Something terrifying.” PUSSY! ISLAND!

Now, they’re either trolling paparazzi and fans who think they’re in a relationship or they’re really Hollywood’s newest It couple. Step aside, Bennifer. Here’s everything we know.

January 2021: The High Fidelity star, soon to be seen as Catwoman opposite Robert Pattinson in The Batman, divorced her husband Karl Glusman last December, and rumors soon started to swirl that she’d chosen affable himbo Tatum as her next relationship. But those rumors are shut down in January by a source.

June 2021: Kravitz and Tatum praise each other during a Deadline interview about their film. “Chan was my first choice, the one I thought of when I wrote this character,” Kravitz said of casting the tech billionaire. “I just knew from Magic Mike and his live shows, I got the sense he’s a true feminist and I wanted to collaborate with someone who was clearly interested in exploring this subject matter.”

Tatum had equally glowing things to say about Kravitz. “When Zoë called me about this, I was shocked. I didn’t know her. I’d watched her in movies, knew she produced High Fidelity and had seen that, but I didn’t know she was creating on a level like this, where she wanted to direct,” he said. “This came out of nowhere and the subject matter made me say, Wait, why are you thinking about me for this? No one gives me a chance to play a role like this, everybody throws me down a different alley and expects me to do a certain thing. It was scary and liberating, just to be able to have a free conversation, where I was allowed to mess up, and say the wrong things.”

August 18, 2021: The two are spotted “strolling” in the East Village before Tatum hopped onto one of those low BMX bikes and Kravitz stood behind him on the back wheel’s pegs. Check out the pictures and details on Page Six.
