The Best 2022 Super Bowl Commercials (So Far)

At this point I don’t know who the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams are and I’m too afraid to ask—so bring on the Super Bowl 2022 commercials!

If you’re anything like me, sports just aren’t your thing. Euphoria football scenes aside, I rarely keep up with any athletic endeavors. However, I will admit that every year I sit down to watch the Super Bowl for three reasons: attractive players, the Halftime Show, and the ads. Whether they’re tear jerkers, comedic gold, or downright confusing, binging the Super Bowl ads with friends, family, and a five-pound plate of nachos is my guilty pleasure.

This year, per usual, the ad game is coming in hot. How could it not? Advertisers spend months (if not years) optimizing their million-dollar budgets and strategy for minute-long spots that engulf the internet in memes. For the 2022 Super Bowl, which will be held in Los Angeles, the usual contenders for the best commercial are on the roster: Frito-Lay’s, Budweiser, and AT&T are all back with gems. Notable firsts include Crypto.com, the much buzzed financial-tech company, and big-box retailer Sam’s Club, along with Rakuten and Booking.com.

As always, star power is taking this year’s best Super Bowl ads to the next level, with cheeky references to IRL celebrities like Idris Elba, Seth Rogan, Megan Thee Stallion, Mila Kunis, Kevin Hart, Demi Moore, among others.

Watch all of our favorite Super Bowl 2022 Commercials (so far) ahead of the game on February 13.
