Sound of Metal star Riz Ahmed is a married man! We don’t know when the Hollywood heartthrob tied the knot, but his secret wedding was held “recently.” In an interview on the Grounded podcast January 11, Ahmed casually mentioned his wife, despite zero reports that the actor was anything but single.
Per Us Weekly, host Louis Theroux quickly asked how long Ahmed has been married. “Not very long, actually,” Ahmed replied. “It’s the first time I’ve ever mentioned it in an interview. So, congratulations on this incredibly exciting scoop.” The actor did not disclose his wife’s name, presumably for privacy reasons.
However, he appeared on The Tonight Show on January 13 and gave more details. He told host Jimmy Fallon that he married author Fatima Farheen Mirz, and the wedding was “super intimate.” Watch the full interview here.
