Joe Amabile has done all of it before. He’s been within The Bachelorette , Bachelors in Paradise , perhaps even Dancing With the Stars . So when he returned for the beach for the chance to consider love on BiP yet again, he wasn’t quite convinced it was the right place, or the right time. In fact, looking back at the season premiere, it’s somewhat of a miracle he and Serena Pitt made it to the finale at all. (Consider this your spoiler warning if you haven’t watched the finale yet.)
But not only did the Prom King and Queen of Paradise get engaged, they made it through the season relatively unscathed, despite a number of obstacles thrown in their direction (see: < a href="https://www.glamour.com/story/bachelor-in-paradise-joe-amabile-kendall-long-dating"> ex-girlfriend harvest to the destin beach weddings not once but twice ). Now they’re putting way back when behind them and focusing on the ideal all the time they can together—away within the cameras.
We caught up with the incessantly likable couple to see the gist going through their heads on that beach, what’s following that, and more.
Glamour: Joe, you is aware left Paradise on the first day of lots of expensive days to come. What was it that kept you there?
Joe Amabile: I’ve said it several times: I really did almost leave the that day, but It looks like it was my connection with Serena. I knew there could potentially be something there. So when i panicked and freaked up and sweated and can everything that I was doing, mother kept me there.
Serena Pitt: I know, luckily for us so.
Joe: Am not able to ask for a better ending, better?
We are sorry to bring it up, but you may be wondering what were you thinking every time you saw Kendall walk throughout the beach as you were about to propose to Serena?
Paul: I was as a consequence nervous in the moment to begin with, because it’s such a big event in my life. And I was really women focused on the ring at my back pocket and Fresco. So obviously Kendall’s moment wasn’t the best; it was a simple conversation, and I was only ready to see Serena.
Serena, all of us stayed remarkably calm if he told you Kendall had been several. What was going through your head soon after you found out?
Serena: I was really shocked, truth be told00. Because obviously, I had considered she left with everyone else. Having said that I was just worried about your, and he seemed completely top-notch and super steady along with it all. It was a big 24-hour interval for us and a big point. And as much as I wanted to acknowledge what had just about happened, I was happy that any of us both just kind of frequent forward with our special decisive moment.
Java, you also have a podcast, Clickbait , with Natasha outside of the show. What was your idea like watching your very good deal with her ups and downs to your beach?
